Hello Rochester Band and Orchestra Booster (RBOB ) families,
We are looking for candidates to be on the RBOB board for the 2025-2026 school year!
My name is Brian Miciano, and I am a board member of RBOB for the current school year. Michele Loscher is a band parent and an active general member of RBOB. We are reaching out to find volunteers like you to fill all board positions for the next school year. Become an RBOB board member and receive a stronger voice in the activities regarding your child's musical education.
The music programs have completed successful band and orchestra festivals, partially due to the efforts that RBOB provided to the musical directors. RBOB is operated by parent volunteers that help host student events, fundraise for field trips, approve dollars for new instruments, hire clinicians to evaluate performances, and more. The end of the school year is slowly approaching. Board term-limits and parents with graduating seniors will depart leaving board openings. Your assistance is crucial to the operation of the music programs to keep it successful. This allows the directors the ability to focus on your student's learning.
Elections will occur in May at the next general membership meeting. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the process or positions. If you enjoy keeping our website up to date and sending emails, then VP - Communications may be a good fit. Maybe you like putting together family gatherings, then VP - Hospitality is the job for you to host tailgates or team dinners. Here are the titles of all the board positions.
